When color gets loud – art exhibition

Young artists show their works

Since summer 2024, Villa Bosch has been offering a varied creative program for children, young people and adults. Under the guidance of painter and cultural educator Mirjam Wingender, participants can try their hand at painting, drawing and collage in workshops and on an ongoing course.

The topics and materials are varied and offer plenty of scope for experimentation: Beginners and advanced students alike have the opportunity to pursue their own interests, learn new techniques and receive fresh inspiration.

A particular source of inspiration is working amidst the exhibitions organized by the Radolfzell Art Association and the town of Radolfzell. Short guided tours through the current presentations are therefore an integral part of the courses on offer. In addition to the existing creative program, schools also have the opportunity to book guided tours and creative offers.

True to the motto “Don’t be afraid of the blank page”, Mirjam Wingender wants to create an environment in which participants can develop their full potential and express their ideas freely. “Part of the core of my work is to accompany people interested in art on their journey, to inspire them and to see them surpass themselves,” explains Wingender.

The joint aim of the town of Radolfzell and the artist Mirjam Wingender is to attract a younger audience and families in particular to the varied program at Villa Bosch. In addition to exhibitions, the program also includes readings and musical events.

The exhibition “When color gets loud”, which can be seen from 7 February to 15 March 2026, provides an insight into the works created in the art lab. On display are a number of artworks that have been created as part of Mirjam Wingender’s workshops and courses at Villa Bosch. The results of the “Wunderland” cooperation projects with Ratoldus Gemeinschaftsschule and Teggingerschule Radolfzell can also be seen. The exhibition title “When color gets loud” is emblematic of young artistic positions. How do children and young people see the world? What ideas do they have? The exhibition, sponsored by the Werner and Erika Messmer Foundation, invites you to discover exactly that.
