Art laboratory in the Villa Bosch

Experiment, draw and design with different colors to your heart’s content: On Friday, 09.01.2026, Mirjam Wingender’s art lab at Villa Bosch will be starting an ongoing creative course for children. This takes place every Friday from 3.30 p.m. to 5 p.m. outside the vacation periods and is aimed at young talents who would like to draw regularly or experiment with colors. They can creatively pursue their own ideas in the open studio at Villa Bosch. It doesn’t matter whether the artwork is figurative or abstract and without a recognizable motif. Anything that is fun is allowed! Participation for one day costs 15.00 euros, a ticket for ten costs 140.00 euros. The workshops are a collaboration between Villa Bosch and Mirjam Wingender. In her courses, the artist from Radolfzell demonstrates various painting and drawing techniques, but her main aim is to encourage participants to “discover and develop their own creativity”, as she emphasizes. It is particularly important to her to “take away the participants’ fear of the blank page”. Art enthusiasts can draw inspiration from the current exhibitions in the historic building at Scheffelstraße 8.

The artist and art teacher Mirjam Wingender is offering creative workshops for children as part of the exhibition. Together with her, the children immerse themselves in the world of art and experiment with colors, techniques and ideas, surrounded by the current exhibitions at Villa Bosch. Would you like to draw or paint with colors? In the open studio you have space to pursue your own ideas, whether figurative or abstract without a recognizable motif; anything that is fun is allowed.
