Irish evening with Jutta André

Irish evening at Wunderfitz with Jutta André & Peddy
“Irish History – with Rebels and Love”
On 3.10.2025 it will be musical, historical and very Irish at Wunderfitz Radolfzell: long-time Radolfzell musician Jutta André, who now lives in Ireland with her partner Pedi, is returning to Lake Constance for a special evening.

Sculpture trail at the forest cemetery

The cemetery can not only be a place of remembrance, but also a place of encounter and cultural diversity: With this in mind, the sculpture trail was established at Radolfzell Forest Cemetery in 2022. A wide variety of sculptures by 16 regional artists can be discovered at the popular open-air art exhibition.

Due to its popularity, the permanent exhibition has been extended until May 2025.

Works by the following members of the Baden-Württemberg Association of Freelance Sculptors will be on display: Claudia Dietz, Jan Douma, Heike Endemann, Claudia Dietz, OMI Riesterer, Susanna Giese, Barbara Jäger, Jörg Failmezger, Uli Gsell, Birgit Rehfeldt, Rüdiger Seidt, Christoph Traub and Frank Teufel. Vincenz Repnik from Radolfzell will also be exhibiting his sculpture “Schutzmanteltaube”.

A flyer on the sculpture trail, on which all the works of art are illustrated and described, can be viewed and downloaded from the website of the cultural office: https://kulturbuero-radolfzell.de/veranstaltung/skulpturenpfad-auf-dem-waldfriedhof/. Further flyers can be found in an information box on the sculpture trail itself.

All the sculptures are placed in the greenery along a path that stretches between the main entrance and the chapel of the Radolfzell Forest Cemetery. The path is accessible for self-guided tours during the cemetery’s opening hours.

The Radolfzell forest cemetery (Kapellenweg 100, 78315 Radolfzell) can be reached from the town center in ten minutes by bike or conveniently by bus line 4.

The sculptures on display are for sale.

International Day

What is the International Day?

International Day has a long tradition in Radolfzell and
has been celebrated for over 25 years. It is a celebration of cultures, with
music, dance and culinary delights from Afghanistan, India,
Italy, Sri Lanka, Syria, Turkey, Ukraine and Hungary.

It is a day of encounters and peaceful coexistence
between people from other countries and citizens of
Radolfzell.

Integration

Germany is heavily influenced by immigration. Integration is therefore
of central importance for us today and in the future. Cultural
diversity is increasingly shaping the image of our society and leading to
fundamental changes in working and living conditions.

With the International Day, we would like to highlight the diversity and
differences, but also the similarities between the various
nations. Integration always means approaching
one another. Where better to do this than at a festival, at
informal get-togethers and stimulating conversations? By taking a look
at the cultures of our fellow citizens, we broaden our horizons and
promote tolerance and understanding among one another.
