Golden hour by the lake | Guided walk
It becomes magical in Radolfzell as soon as the sun approaches the water, then Lake Constance is transformed into a magnificent backdrop and it seems as if the water is turning into liquid gold. On our Golden Hours tour, you will experience a guided walk on the Mettnau peninsula, which offers many exciting viewpoints. Your guide will tell you a lot about nature conservation and the local spa. In addition to highlights such as the rock garden in Mettnau Park, this tour is particularly impressive with its view of the sunset over Lake Constance. You then head back towards Radolfzell’s old town, which, with its illuminated alleyways and old half-timbered houses, makes an excellent end to the tour.
Meeting point at Marktplatz 8 in 78315 at the fountain on the market square.
The tour takes about two hours. There is no guarantee of a sunset, the tour also takes place in cloudy weather. Participation is at your own risk. The tour takes place with a minimum of three participants.

Mettnau-Spitze nature experience
Only in the months between September and March is it possible to explore the Mettnau-Spitze and its special flora and fauna. This is because the breeding season is in the summer months, when access is prohibited in order to give the birds the peace and quiet they need and sufficient space to retreat. If you would like to experience this very special place with an expert guide, you are cordially invited to the “Mettnau-Spitze Nature Experience”: For around two hours, you will walk between high reeds, bushes and reeds to the outermost tip to a small beach, which offers a fabulous view over the Untersee.
Please wear waterproof footwear – preferably rubber boots!
Confirmed registration is required for participation in our guided tours.
