Exhibition “From the street to the gallery: a dialog of the arts”

7. September – 10. November | 14:00 bis 17:30 Uhr

Exhibition “From the street to the gallery: a dialog of the arts”

Art is a powerful medium that allows us to view the world from different perspectives and enter into dialog.
From September 6 to November 10, 2024, the Radolfzell-based artists Fatin Rahmouni and Laura Rößiger will be presenting their works on this theme at Villa Bosch.

Fatin Rahmouni
Street artist Fatin Rahmouni is based at Lake Constance.
The combination of color with canvas, street art with feeling, contemporary art with boldness fascinates Fatin Rahmouni and encourages her to face herself again and again.
She strives to capture and reflect the zeitgeist of her generation.
Roughness goes hand in hand with tenderness and is reflected in each other. It is both a rebellion and a struggle. Within yourself, with yourself and also with society. It is a rebellion against the imposed, their fight against the norm. An outcry and an announcement.
We are still here.
Together we can stand up for our right to be seen and heard.
And everyone will be taken on the adventurous journey of life and realize that the true adventure lies outside of our comfort zone.

Laura Rößiger
The work of the Radolfzell-born artist expresses tranquillity and intimacy in painterly and graphic compositions.
Alongside landscape and urban photography, portraits play a central role in her work.
In particular, the search for identity and the value of human freedom characterize her work and lend her photographs a social and philosophical dimension.
Her travels are an important source of inspiration. These have so far taken her through Georgia, where she hiked along the Russian border through the Greater Caucasus. She also crossed the Albanian Alps as well as Montenegro, Kosovo and North Macedonia. Most recently, she traveled to the Azores and Pakistan.
Rößiger developed her passion for photography as a child. In 2021, she began her studies at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe. To deepen her interest in photography, she transferred to the Hochschule der bildenden Künste in Essen in 2023 and finally to the Hochschule Hannover, where she specialized in photojournalism and documentary photography.
