“Promenade nocturne” is the promising title of the exhibition, in which works by Stefanie Scheurell and Robert Ritter will be on display at Villa Bosch at Scheffelstraße 8 from Saturday, March 8, 2025 to Sunday, April 27, 2025. The vernissage will take place on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 7 p.m. in the Villa Bosch. The laudatory speech will be given by Carola Conradt from Munich, who studied art history and is an art therapist and coach. The works can then be admired from Wednesday to Sunday from 2.00 pm to 5.30 pm. The exhibition invites visitors to experience the different artistic positions of Ritter and Scheurell in an exciting juxtaposition. Visitors can expect a varied and inspiring show that offers space for reflection and new perspectives.

Robert Ritter has lived and worked in Constance since 2004. His paintings combine pasty color sculptures that rise three-dimensionally from the canvas with elements from poster art and street art. Ritter’s works reflect the artistic creative process and invite the viewer to discover ever new perspectives and meanings. Recurring motifs and quotations between color, writing and symbolism create a multi-layered cosmos of images that questions the boundaries between art and pop culture.

In her works, artist Stefanie Scheurell
addresses social values, ideals of beauty and consumption in the field of tension between feminism and capitalism. Her multimedia works include photography, video, performance and sculpture. She creates intimate portraits of people from her surroundings and at the same time deconstructs glossy mass media images, which she reinterprets and questions.
