The magic of classical music – Klinghoff Quintet
26. October | 20:00 bis 22:00 Uhr
The magic of classical music
Pastoral melodies and cheerful flute arias alongside lively Spanish rhythms: The renowned Klinghoff Quintet offers a program of fascinating contrasts on Saturday, 26.10.2024, at 8 pm in the Villa Bosch.
The program includes quartets for flute and strings by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and quintets for guitar, flute and strings by Luigi Boccherini.
Mozart’s quartets feature pastoral idylls and indulgent flute arias – enjoyable and virtuoso classical music.
Boccherini’s compositions are strongly influenced by the rhythmic vitality and colorfulness of Spanish music, which is particularly evident in the exuberant Grave e Fandango.
The audience can look forward to the extraordinary sound magic of the various instruments!
Tickets for adults cost 22.00 euros, pupils and students pay a reduced price of 16.00 euros at the box office (admission 7.30 pm).
Reservations by phone 07425-5286/ 0171 4362489 and e-mail: info@Klinghoff-Duo.de.
The top-class Klinghoff Quintet was formed in 2015 from the well-known Klinghoff duo (Reinhilde Klinghoff-Kühn, flute & Werner Klinghoff, guitar), the concertmaster Erich Meili (violin/viola) and the former solo cellist of the Zurich Chamber Orchestra, Johannes Toppius, and is now joined by the concertmaster of the Zurich Symphony Orchestra, Andreas Kaefer (violin), to form the quintet.
