The treasures that can currently be found there can be explored at the next lending and consultation appointment on Thursday, 18.04.2024, from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

In addition to a number of artists from the region, the Artothek’s collection also includes works by winners of the Federal Art Prize for People with Disabilities. About the Artothek

The Artothek, which was set up in the Villa Bosch in October 2015, offers art lovers the opportunity to borrow paintings and sculptures for a few months for a small fee. In addition, regional artists are given the opportunity to become visible. Each year, selected artists can add up to four of their works to the Artothek’s collection. You can currently find works by Birgit Brandys, Elisabeth Kohout, Maike Rohr, Regina D’Alfonso, Sabine Hemming, Laura Rößiger, Magdalena Oppelt, Margret Fecht-Nischak, Anke Christel-Weidemann and many more. Some works of art owned by the city were also included in the collection. The Artothek is managed by the municipal cultural office.
